Javier Gasman, founding partner of Gasman & Cía Abogados, began his legal career in 2009 as a lawyer and legal advisor for the National Chilean Professional Football Association (ANFP).
In late 2010, he was hired by the law firm Mackenna, Irarrázabal, Cuchacovic & Paz, developing his professional practice in corporate, civil and labor matters.
Subsequently, he joined Estudio Spoerer & Valdés Abogados to be responsible, among other things, for the legal advice of Club Deportivo Universidad Católica - Cruzados SADP. This experience gave Javier Gasman the knowledge and prestige of the Chilean football industry.
As of October 2017, he founded Gasman & Cía Abogados, dedicated exclusively to the export industry, which he has been doing successfully since then, as he currently advises more than 20 football clubs in Chile. In addition to advising on Chilean football, he also advises important Peruvian and Bolivian clubs.
Since then, he has participated and advised several clubs in a wide range of sports and business activities, from advising athletes and clubs, companies and federations, among others.
In addition, Javier has a strong presence in the area of entertainment, content and the sale of commercial and broadcasting rights, having been a lawyer for 1190 Sports since 2017, a company that commercializes the commercial rights of the Chilean football team, developing the protection program for branding and fighting ambush marketing.
Currently, he is also a program manager and professor of the "Sports Law and Management" Diploma at the Faculty of Rights of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
Since 2011 Javier Gasman and Carlezzo Advogados has maintained a wide and vigorous institutional and legal collaboration agreement that was able to generate highly beneficial results for clients from both parties, especially football clubs, businessmen and Chilean players who were able to count with services of international quality.
