Rodrigo Marrubia Pereira is a partner at Carlezzo Advogados, which he joined in 2007. He has worked exclusively in sports law since then and has deep knowledge of the rules and procedures governing football in Brazil and abroad.
His practice focuses on international transfers, training rights and employment disputes. He represents clubs, players, coaches and agents before the FIFA Football Tribunal, CAS, CONMEBOL, the CBF National Dispute Resolution Chamber (CNRD) and the Brazilian Centre for Mediation and Arbitration (CBMA).
He handles disputes between clubs and players, clubs and other clubs, agents and clubs, and coaches and clubs, from risk assessment and evidence through submissions, negotiation, hearings and enforcement.
He also drafts and negotiates employment, transfer, player investment, agency, representation and sponsorship agreements, working closely with domestic and international clubs and other football participants.
Since September 2024 he has served as a member and auditor of the Rugby Superior Sports Court, affiliated with the Brazilian Rugby Confederation.
