By Andrew Warshaw September 1 – Chile’s protracted appeal over whether Ecuador should be kicked out of the World Cup finals for fielding an ineligible player has taken a significant twist with FIFA now agreeing to hear the case in mid-September.

MANCHESTER, England, Sept 1 (Reuters) - FIFA will hold an appeal hearing on Sept. 15 in the case of an Ecuador player that Chile claim played while ineligible during World Cup qualifying, the governing body told Reuters on Thursday.

Balanced accounts and attractive competitions, such as Série A and Sudamericana, are trump cards.

Most Brazilian players who played for Ukrainian teams left the country amid the invasion of Russia. There is no prospect of when they will play again as the local championship is interrupted. There is a discussion as to whether athletes can ask FIFA to terminate their contract in the future due to the conflict and not being able to perform their duties.
